Data privacy

I host my website with Hostpoint AG in 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. At Hostpoint AG, standard web server log files containing the following information are created for each access to this website: IP address, date and time including time zone, browser request including origin of the request (referer), operating system used including user interface and version, browser used including language and version, amount of data transferred as well as duration of stay and click behavior. The log files are used to detect technical problems as well as to ensure security and to statistically evaluate the use of our website with the Logaholic Web Analytics software, which is used by our hoster, Hostpoint AG.

This website uses the service “Google Analytics”, which is provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze website usage by users. The service uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

On this website the IP anonymization takes effect. The IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. As part of the agreement on the order data agreement, which the website operators have concluded with Google Inc., the latter uses the information collected to create an evaluation of website use and website activity and provides services associated with Internet use.

You have the option to prevent the cookie from being stored on your device by making appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all the features of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

This website offers the possibility to share content in social services via the AddToAny service. Data is only collected when these services are accessed by you. Since you can only use these services if you have a user account there and log in with your access data, the responsibility from this point on is no longer mine, because the creation of user accounts, i.e. the membership of social services, requires your consent of the respective privacy policy. According to the privacy policy, the service AddToAny does not store any personal data. I also do not receive any data from AddToAny or data resulting from the use of the share buttons. AddToAny provides an opt-out option for a large number of advertising networks.
